Crowns and Bridges

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a cap that covers a damaged or weakened tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. Crowns are commonly used after a root canal, for a cracked or broken tooth, or to cover a large filling. Made from materials like porcelain, ceramic, or metal, crowns are designed to match the colour of natural teeth, especially when placed on visible teeth. The process involves shaping the tooth, taking impressions, and placing a custom-made crown over the tooth.

Dental Bridges

A dental bridge is used to replace one or more missing teeth. It "bridges" the gap by attaching artificial teeth to the adjacent natural teeth, called abutments. Bridges help restore function, appearance, and prevent neighbouring teeth from shifting. Like crowns, bridges are made of materials that match the natural colour of your teeth and are custom-made for a precise fit.

Both crowns and bridges improve the strength and function of teeth, as well as restore a more natural-looking smile.
